In June I had an awesome trip to Singapore & Paris for my birthday with my dad which featured a visit to the Paris leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour show jumping. It was unreal getting to experience a show of that calibre and watch all the top horses jump whilst studying their bloodlines.
Not long after returning the long awaited vet selection results came out and I successfully made the cut this time! Bachelor of Veterinary Science here I come... It was a quick one week turnaround to sort things out at home before I headed down to Palmerston North last weekend ready to start Week 1 of semester this week! The week consisted of formalities and 'VetStart' which is a team building camp we travelled one hour south on buses to for Wednesday to Friday. Whilst I was very overwhelmed by being surrounded by that many people 24/7 for the duration of camp it was certainly a well worthwhile experience to meet some of my classmates outside of lectures.
In amongst this I managed to find an awesome home for 3yo Decadence RF who headed off to them this week. This leaves two more 3yo's Cashed Up RF and Classic Affair RF looking for homes (and currently at reduced prices to reflect them not being in work) as I am overcommitted with study for the coming years to have a full team. I am looking to reduce breeding numbers for the time being with a collection of broodmares available too. There are also four 2yo geldings next up on the list for advertising who I would love to find homes for before they are due to be started under saddle later in the year; so if you are in the market please get in touch as there are certainly deals to be made for the right homes.
