Some recent upgrades to our property has seen the removal of the old hay shed, which allowed for the fence line to be straightened back up with the driveway and some extra alterations made. One of the larger paddocks has been split in three, with the paddock beside the old shed being turned into two smaller paddocks and a bigger one behind in addition to some holding yards, a covered yard, and a truck loading ramp. This will be a welcome sight for the breeding season ahead, allowing us more grazing rotation options and easier management of the mares & foals. We are currently taking bookings for foaling down next season.
In other news, our lovely Lorelle RF (Lordano x Littorio) has found herself a pretty darn exciting home in Singapore and currently awaiting the next flight up there. While closer to home, Cashed Up RF (Cashier RF x Carpaccio) has sold to our groom Emma who has been riding him over the past two months while I have been away at uni. We do have a collection of youngstock through to our ridden team who are on the lookout for new homes too.
