Where Has The Year Gone?

Another year has vanished at rapid pace with the completion of my second year of vet school ticked off. It has been a busy year with various placements completed, including a very special experience at Gibbs Farm where I got to work alongside the exotic team caring for their lovely giraffe among other animals.

On returning home it was straight back into work full speed ahead with the ridden team getting back to business, and farewelling 3yo Concorde RF as he headed on his big journey to his new home in Australia with a repeat buyer. With the ridden team progressing kindly in work they are all now ready to start looking for their new homes too. Head over to our sales page to find out more about them.

The breeding side of things is slowly ramping up with the arrival of our first client foal of the season, shortly followed by one of our own (pictured) after plenty of FOMO watching all my foaling alarm hire clients enjoying their new arrivals! We are thrilled with the purchase of an IgG machine to add to our service offerings going forward which will allow timely IgG results on foals born on-site. This will be especially important with weekends and public holidays!

Now is a good time to book in any holiday care agistment requirements for the holiday season, or book in your mare for breeding work. Get in touch for more information
